Tinkyada Rice Pasta

There is one brand of rice pasta that is so delicious. It is Tinkyada pasta. It isn't mushy and my family enjoy it a lot. (We'll, my husband has trouble with starches so he can't eat it anymore.) Here are the ones we buy:

Celiac & Gluten Sensitivity Testing

Celiac and gluten sensitivity are hereditary. This means family members (siblings, children, parents and grandparents) will probably have it too. We had celiac and gluten sensitivity gene tests done at Enterolab (read their FAQ pages) on our two oldest children. The test is done via cotton swap in the mouth (so it's not invasive like the small intestine biopsy). My daughter has the celiac and a gluten sensitive gene. My son has two gluten sensitive genes. My husband had a blood test done somewhere else for the celiac gene and it came back positive. He also has the gluten sensitive gene (since our son has two gluten sensitive genes).
